Spotify → Apple Music

Transfer Spotify playlists to Apple Music — seamlessly.

Preview every match, fix anything that looks wrong, then create your Apple Music playlist.

Evidence before access

Know what will move before Apple Music can write anything.

PlaylistXfer separates a transfer into visible decisions. First it reads a public Spotify link. Then it searches the Apple Music catalog and shows the evidence behind every proposed match. Only after you review the report does it ask for Apple Music authorization to create a new playlist.

Production audit · August 2, 2026

A 46-versus-340 discrepancy exposed an incomplete playlist preview.

A public FIFA songs playlist produced 340 readable tracks through the ingestion backend but only 46 through the original Cloudflare path. The smaller result looked valid, so it could have gone unnoticed. PlaylistXfer now expands public playlist metadata once outside the Worker and sends the complete list into the review flow.

August 14 follow-up: a fresh full run carried all 339 current readable rows into analysis, with 333 confident Apple Music matches and six honest omissions. See all three production tests and their limitations →

The review-first workflow

Three stages, with a clear boundary between reading and writing.

01

Preview the source

Paste a normal public Spotify playlist or song URL. Confirm the title and readable tracks before matching begins. Spotify login is not required for this public-link step.

02

Inspect the matches

PlaylistXfer prioritizes recording identifiers, then checks title, artist, album, duration, version words, and catalog context. Uncertain or absent results stay visible instead of being hidden inside a success percentage.

03

Create only after review

Connect the destination Apple Music account at the final step. The source playlist is never modified, and missing or skipped rows are not replaced with guesses.

What the result means

A clean transfer is not always a complete transfer.

Spotify and Apple Music do not share one universal catalog. Local files, regional availability, removed releases, clean edits, remasters, live recordings, and compilations can all change what is available. PlaylistXfer is designed to leave a row out when the evidence is weak.

After creation, check the new playlist inside Apple Music and add any missing recording manually. The post-transfer checklist explains how to verify order, versions, duplicates, and omissions.

Current web scope
  • Public Spotify playlist and song links
  • Apple Music catalog matching and manual review
  • New private Apple Music library playlists
  • Up to 500 analyzed rows per web transfer

Private Spotify sessions, podcasts, uploaded local audio, likes, follows, and listening history are outside the current transfer scope.
