Spotify to Apple Music guide
Transfer a Spotify playlist to Apple Music without blind guessing.
PlaylistXfer is built for public Spotify playlist links and review-first Apple Music transfers.
Most playlist transfer tools ask you to trust the result before you see it. PlaylistXfer does the opposite: it previews the Spotify playlist, builds an Apple Music match report, and only creates the playlist after you review what will move.
Quick steps
- Copy a public Spotify playlist link. Open the playlist in Spotify and use Share to copy the playlist URL.
- Paste it into PlaylistXfer. The preview step checks that the public link can be read before any Apple Music permission is requested.
- Match against Apple Music. PlaylistXfer compares track metadata, including ISRC when available, title, artist, album, and duration signals.
- Review anything uncertain. Ready tracks can move automatically, but review and missing tracks stay out unless you approve them.
- Create the playlist. Apple Music access is requested at the end, when you are ready to write the playlist to your library.
What works best
Public Spotify playlists with standard released tracks usually transfer best. Local files, podcasts, unavailable region-specific tracks, duplicate live versions, and unofficial uploads may need review or may not transfer.
Why review matters
A playlist can contain many versions of the same song: remasters, live cuts, radio edits, covers, regional releases, and compilations. A transparent match report helps avoid moving the wrong version into Apple Music.
Not affiliated with Spotify or Apple
PlaylistXfer is an independent tool. Spotify and Apple Music names are used only to describe the source and destination services.
